30 Days Of AWS -Day 1 (cloud computing and aws certification)
Before Starting Aws we need to understand what is cloud computing
what is cloud computing
cloud computing is the on demand delivery of computer power database storage applications other it resources through a cloud service platform via the Internet Means Internet is the 1st permanent thing you need with pay as you go model means paying for a product or service only when you use it. For example, instead of paying for a monthly phone plan with a fixed amount, you would pay only for the calls, messages, or data that you actually use. It’s like topping up a prepaid card or buying tokens to use a vending machine — you pay for what you consume, rather than committing to a fixed fee.
Why we need cloud
whatever you study you 1st ask yourself why we need to study such type of subject
so why cloud!!
why cloud computing!!
benefits of cloud computing
suppose you want to build up a website for your business that needs a large amount of servers , cables ,AC , Electricity bill, employee to watch over it and many other things….
it will cost a huge let’s say in crores
what happened if your business is failed to run…
your all expenditure on above have gone waste
so to fix this cloud computing comes in picture
companies like AWS ,Google cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc … provides you a servers in rent at very low cost….if your business is run properly than you create your own and if didn’t than just pay for the usage of that servers
this will reduce cost as well as tention to manage a whole data centre also….
that’s why we need to understand how things work in these type of services
Chracterstics of cloud →
On demand self service
broad network access (access by Any of device)
It provides Scalablity
Resource pooling means combining and sharing all the servers and storage
Provide Rapid elasticity means you could increase specifications at any time
Aws Certification path →
AWS (Amazon Web Services) offers a wide range of certifications for IT professionals, developers, and architects who want to validate their expertise in AWS services and technologies. Here is an overview of the AWS certification path:
- Foundational level:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
2. Associate level:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate
AWS Certified Developer — Associate
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator — Associate
3. Professional level:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Professional
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer — Professional
4. Specialty level:
AWS Certified Advanced Networking — Specialty
AWS Certified Security — Specialty
AWS Certified Machine Learning — Specialty
AWS Certified Database — Specialty
AWS Certified Data Analytics — Specialty
AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder — Specialty
To earn each certification, you need to pass an exam that measures your knowledge and skills in the corresponding AWS services and technologies. Each certification has its own exam, and you can take them in any order. However, it is recommended to start with the foundational and associate level certifications before moving on to the professional and specialty level ones.
Services in Cloud →
Basically cloud provides of 3 main services →
In cloud computing, you can rent computing resources over the internet instead of owning and managing your own hardware.
IAAS(infrastructure as a service) →Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is like renting a virtual computer with storage and networking, and you manage everything yourself.
PAAS(platform as a service) →Platform as a Service (PaaS) is like renting a ready-to-use platform for building and running your applications, and you only need to worry about your application code.
SAAS(Software as a service) →Software as a Service (SaaS) is like renting a complete software application that you can access over the internet, and you don’t need to install or manage anything yourself.
Think of it like renting a car: with IaaS, you rent a car and you have to drive it, fill it with gas, and maintain it yourself. With PaaS, you rent a chauffeur who drives the car for you, and you only need to tell them where to go. With SaaS, you rent a taxi that takes you directly to your destination, and you don’t need to worry about driving or directions.
